City Supports Cooperation Between Go-Jek and Transjakarta

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) supports the cooperation that will be created between PT Transjakarta with Go-Jek transportation Company. In such cooperation, Go-Jek will become feeder of Transjakarta to facilitate the passenger who want continue their trip.

In detail, the passenger could also know the Transjakarta bus position through this cooperation.

"Yes, we ask Go-Jek to become one of our feeder, we want the Go-Jek passenger can know Transjakarta bus position and its arrival time," told Basuki, in City Hall, Wednesday (6/24).

3 Accident Cases, Transjakarta Contract will Be Revoked

Furthermore, Ahok also hope that Go-Jek can guide the passengers to their destination.

"Later, we can also calculate passenger travel time through a combination of bus, taxi, train, and on foot," he told.

Previously, PT Transjakarta announced it would conduct a MoU with Go-Jek under the name Go Busway. Go Busway is content in Go-Jek that serves to determine Transjakarta position.

"So the community could know the bus position before they come into bus stop and estimate the bus arrival time at nearby location," told PT Transjakarta General Director, Antonious NS Kosasih.

The plans, MoU will be signed in near time. Kosasih revealed that there is no expenses whatsoever for this cooperation both from the Go-Jek and the Jakarta Provincial Government.
